On December 20, 2006 Ray Grismer came to the performance studio to play a few holiday songs, and improvise on the KPBX grand piano. The Wallace, Idaho native plays jazz regularly with Big Band Era Jazz's Bruce Davis. "Ray gave us the complete anatomy of improvisa tion. He showed how jazz is built," says KPBX's Verne Windham.
